Rock History

Rock History is a personal reflection on what I have learned from my journey as a Rock n Roll songwriter, performer and producer of songs in the Rock genre.

It has taken over 50 years and hopefully much more to create the songs I began as a teenager with my friends and the subsequent result in the first album I have professionally produced Rock America by Rick Herron and professional mixed and mastered.

 

In these articles and postings I will try to explain how I arrived at selecting guitars and why and how I write songs. I will reflect on how my journey with the genre from its birth in the early fifties after I was born and the technology that made it happen. I will also look into what the term means and where musically were its roots and how it is the true world revolutionary music.
